Gift vouchers that create themselves once the order is paid.

The Odnowa beauty salon offers facial and laser treatments, hand and foot care, and massage. The salon wanted to sell gift vouchers online. It needed a shop where a customer buys a personalised voucher and receives the finished document with no manual work on the salon’s side.

A new way to sell

Selling vouchers online was a new idea for the salon. An ordinary shop sells a product. Here, every purchase had to become a separate, personalised document with an amount, an expiry date and the recipient’s name, without extra work for the salon on each order.

What did we build?

A voucher shop for her and for him.

The shop runs on its own subdomain with “For her” and “For him” categories. On the voucher page the customer enters the recipient and chooses an electronic voucher or gift wrapping. The total updates straight away.

A voucher that creates itself.

Once the order is paid, the plugin creates a personalised voucher with the amount, expiry date and a unique code, then e-mails it to the buyer. It is our own WordPress plugin, written for this shop.

Vouchers under the salon’s control.

The salon sees issued vouchers in WordPress and manages them when a customer arrives with a voucher for a treatment.

Who did what?

We built the shop with B2B Care. Matte was responsible for design and UX, Adrian for the code. They designed the voucher plugin’s behaviour and logic together. Joint authorship is credited in the shop footer. The salon’s main website is not our work.

What happened after launch?

We handed the shop over to the salon and it runs on its own: vouchers are created and sent automatically after every paid order. We make further changes on request.
