Work

A WooCommerce store built around the client's actual buying process.

PC Poznań sells parts and accessories for heavy vehicles to businesses and individual buyers. The older store was difficult to change technically. The assignment was to build a new store with a clearer interface, a tailored ordering process and a better way to handle product data.

The problem went beyond appearance

The old store's code and technology made new features difficult and risky to introduce. The client needed a solution where the buying journey and product information could be developed without building more limitations on top of the old system.

What did we build?

A custom theme.

Matte worked on layout, design and UX. Adrian wrote the theme. Building it for this assignment provided control over the interface and functions.

An adapted checkout.

We developed the checkout for the client's sales process rather than relying only on the standard journey. The interface and external connections had to be planned together.

Product data between systems.

The integration synchronises prices, stock levels, names, categories, descriptions and images with an external system.

Who did what?

The project was delivered with B2B Care. B2B Care handled client contact and project management. Matte created the design and UX. Adrian built the theme and technical integrations. The joint role is also visible in the store's public footer.

What happened after launch?

We continue to provide technical support: backups, WordPress and environment updates, and smaller changes on request. The client has reported improved sales after launch.

The scale of this project is visible in its 1,289 published products and roughly 200 hours of design and development by a two-person team.
